  • Team Polyglass Raises $40K in Dolphins Cancer Challenge XVI

    Contributed by FSM Staff

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL -- Polyglass U.S.A., Inc., a manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing systems, proudly announced its participation in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge XVI, with 125 team members contributing to this year’s fundraising efforts in support of cancer research.

This year’s event brought together more than 8,600 participants and marked a historic milestone for the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, which has now surpassed $100 million raised lifetime to support innovative cancer research.

Team Polyglass made a meaningful contribution to that impact, with 125 employees and supporters participating across cycling and run/walk events. The team raised over $10,000 in donations, more than doubling its original goal, and achieved a total fundraising impact of $40,000.

Support for the challenge extended across Polyglass operations, with manufacturing facilities in Winter Haven, FL and Fernley, NV organizing local fundraising events and raffles. The Hazleton, PA plant also rallied behind rider Cristian Cocconcelli, sponsoring a 54-mile cycling effort to help drive additional contributions.

“The energy and commitment behind this year’s event were truly inspiring,” said Cristian Cocconcelli, PhD, Research Scientist at Polyglass. “Seeing our team come together across locations to support such an important cause reflects what we stand for as an organization: showing up, giving back, and making an impact beyond our industry. Because our great team keeps roofs tight and wheels spinning!”

Polyglass’ continued involvement in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge reflects the company’s broader commitment to supporting the communities where it operates and contributing to causes that make a lasting difference.

Polyglass extends its gratitude to all employees, partners, and donors who contributed to the success of this year’s event.
