    Contributed by FSM Staff

BRADENTON, FL -- Ten-8 Fire & Safety announced that Emergency Equipment Professionals (EEP) is now part of the Ten-8 organization. With the addition of EEP, the combined organization strengthens Ten-8’s regional platform, delivering purpose-built apparatus, equipment, and service throughout the region.

For more than four decades, Ten-8 Fire & Safety has built its reputation on integrity, long-term relationships, and a service-first mindset rooted in supporting those who serve others. Emergency Equipment Professionals brings a complementary history, known throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee for dependable service, technical expertise, and strong customer relationships built on trust.

Customers will continue working with the same trusted EEP team, now supported by the broader resources, infrastructure, and capabilities of Ten-8 Fire & Safety.

“This is about strengthening our ability to serve the fire and emergency service community while preserving the values both organizations share,” said B. Keith Chapman, President & CEO, Ten-8 Fire & Safety. “EEP has built a respected organization centered on service and doing things the right way. Bringing our teams together allows us to expand our regional presence while maintaining the relationship-driven approach our customers expect.”

As part of Ten-8 Fire & Safety, EEP’s existing locations will continue to provide apparatus, ambulance and equipment sales, maintenance and repair, and a variety of other fire department-focused services. The combined organization represents a wide range of leading emergency manufacturers and maintains 24/7 mobile service capabilities.

This step reflects Ten-8 Fire & Safety’s long-term commitment to investing in people, infrastructure, and partnerships that strengthen support for departments across the Southeast. Growth for Ten-8 has always been intentional, centered on integrity and stewardship, and focused on ensuring that expanded capabilities translate into real value for the customers and communities we serve.

    Customers will benefit from:

Expanded geographic coverage throughout the Southeast.

Strong manufacturer partnerships and equipment solutions.

A broader network of regional service centers supported by enhanced parts distribution.

A strong regional team dedicated to helping departments remain operational, minimize downtime, and maintain modern emergency response and vocational fleets and equipment.

“I’m excited for both our employees and our customers,” said Jeff Kuntz, owner of Emergency Equipment Professionals. “Ten-8 and EEP share very similar values and a common approach to serving our customers. Bringing the two organizations together creates a stronger platform that benefits everyone involved. I’m also incredibly proud of what our team has built at EEP. Having the opportunity to become part of Ten-8, a company with such a rich heritage and outstanding reputation, is something we’re very excited about, and I believe both our employees and our customers will benefit from the opportunities ahead.”

Ten-8 Fire & Safety will work closely with the EEP team to ensure continuity for existing customers while expanding opportunities for collaboration and long-term partnership.
