WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Total Worker Health Program announces four new organizations have joined the Total Worker Health (TWH) Affiliate Program: BETA Healthcare Group, Interactive Community Alliance, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, and Oregon State University.

"We are pleased to welcome these organizations to the Total Worker Health Affiliate Program," said NIOSH Director John Howard, M.D. "Each organization has demonstrated a commitment to advancing and promoting Total Worker Health principles within their organization and we look forward to working closely with them."

    New Total Worker Health Affiliates
BETA Healthcare Group,as a provider of insurance solutions for hospitals and healthcare organizations, has long promoted the interconnectedness of work and non-work factors impacting worker safety, health, and well-being as crucial to reducing work-related illnesses and injuries. By combining traditional occupational safety with broader health promotion and well-being efforts, BETA is helping organizations achieve improved quality of care, safety, and outcomes.

Interactive Community Alliance, Inc. (ICA)is working to strengthen people, organizations, and communities through education, prevention, and collaboration. ICA supports workers, families, and small and medium-sized businesses by fostering safer practices, informed leadership, and long-term community resilience through local and international partnerships.

Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) is advancing workplace mental health as a critical component of worker safety, productivity, and business success through its Healthy Work Healthy Mind initiative. By helping employers address stress, trauma, and mental health challenges on the job, LEO is supporting healthier workers, stronger workplaces, and better outcomes for Michigan's economy.

Oregon State University (OSU) is committed to enhancing collaboration across its safety, health, and well-being programs. By reducing silos and coordinating efforts, OSU is better able to enhance employee safety, support well-being, and promote a workplace where all employees can thrive. OSU's efforts foster a culture that supports employee engagement and presence and helps create an environment where employees and students can thrive.
