  • LifeSpeak Inc. Releases 2025 Workplace Wellness Report

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- LifeSpeak Inc., a digital preventative wellbeing solutions provider, announced the launch of its 2025 Workplace Wellness Report, shedding light on a new era of employee support. The findings point to a critical shift: wellness is no longer a perk — it's a strategic business imperative linked to higher rates of employee performance, retention and engagement.

The 2025 report reveals that outdated wellness programs are falling short of employee expectations and organizational goals. In their place, employers are increasingly turning to prevention-first, personalized solutions that deliver measurable, lasting impact for their employees.

"Wellness is evolving from a checkbox exercise to a business-critical function," said Jason Campana, CEO at LifeSpeak. "Our Workplace Wellness Report confirms that when employers prioritize personalized, outcomes-driven wellness strategies for their employees, the payoff is real — for both the individual workers and the organization as a whole."

Key findings from LifeSpeak's 2025 Workplace Wellness Report include:

LifeSpeak members are seeing lower levels of burnout and higher levels of engagement: LifeSpeak customer Agero reported a 76 percent average reduction in burnout symptoms and improved engagement scores among their employees after implementing LifeSpeak. In LifeSpeak's latest member survey, 97 percent of respondents said LifeSpeak helps them manage stress and prevent burnout, reinforcing the impact of early, accessible support.

Retention, positive sentiment and productivity increase with access to preventative, personalized wellness support: 92 percent of members say access to LifeSpeak makes them more likely to stay with their employer, while 99 percent of users report that LifeSpeak helps them function better at work and at home, highlighting the strong link between comprehensive support and positive day-to-day employee experience.

Preventative care drives real cost savings for organizations and employees when it's early, personalized and evidence-based: 90.5 percent of members report fewer visits to doctors or mental health professionals, reducing the burden on healthcare systems and lowering downstream costs for employers. LifeSpeak's support is guided by leading experts and built to help people take action before issues escalate.

The report finds a gap between what organizations offer and what employees actually use. Disjointed solutions put pressure on employers to guess what their people need. LifeSpeak addresses this by providing modular, expert-led and AI-personalized solutions that adapt to each organization's strategy and every employee's needs – whether solving for burnout, substance use, fitness, caregiving or other mental health or wellness challenges. Customer results and member outcomes demonstrate stronger engagement when support is personalized, easily accessible and reflects the connection between mental and physical health.

"Today's employees expect more than surface-level wellness perks," said Campana. "They want personalized support that helps them manage stress, improve health and achieve balance — all in a way that's simple and intuitive. Our job at LifeSpeak is to help organizations meet their employees' needs while also driving better business results, because the numbers speak for themselves: when employees feel better, they perform better, stay longer and contribute more."

Employees are under pressure, and so are the organizations that support them. With healthcare costs rising, HR teams stretched thin and employee expectations higher than ever, LifeSpeak's new report concludes that organizations must evolve from hard-to-use, reactive tools to flexible, prevention-first solutions. LifeSpeak's data demonstrates that when employees get the right support early, the ripple effects are felt across families, teams and entire organizations.
