ITASCA, IL -- Werner, ladders and manufacturer of climbing and fall protection equipment provider, announced the company continued to partner with the American Ladder Institute (ALI) for Ladder Safety Month, the only nationwide program dedicated exclusively to promoting ladder safety at home and work.
The annual event takes place every March to raise awareness of ladder safety and help reduce injuries and fatalities caused by ladder misuse.
Ladder related injuries are far too common and often preventable through ongoing training and consistent safety precautions for those working at height. With consistent training and safety protocols in place, these injuries and fatalities can be decreased.
"Ladder safety is an important component of creating a culture of safety," said Eric Blankinship, Sr. Product Manager for Werner. "For almost a decade, we've partnered with ALI for National Ladder Safety Month, but our commitment doesn't end in March. We offer a variety of online and onsite training to promote ladder safety throughout the year."
