FACOSH advises the Secretary of Labor on all matters relating to the occupational safety and health of federal employees. These matters include providing advice on how to reduce the number of injuries and illnesses in the federal workforce and how to encourage federal executive branch departments and agencies to establish and maintain effective occupational safety and health programs.

The agenda will feature remarks by Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health Douglas Parker, regulatory updates from OSHA, a report from FACOSH’s Subcommittee on Best Practices and Lessons Learned, and input from the department’s Wage and Hour Division. The agenda may also include presentations on job classifications and Bureau of Labor Statistics data input.

Public and member attendance at the meeting is online only. Members of the public may attend online and will be in listen-only mode. Read the Federal Register notice for participation details.
