Print Article Contributed by FSM Staff

ITASCA, IL -- The National Safety Council is proud to announce its ninth class of Rising Stars of Safety – a group of future leaders dedicated to making workplaces safer. The 38 honorees have promoted a cycle of continuous improvement within their organizations and created initiatives focused on measureable outcomes.

"We are proud to recognize these young men and women for their noteworthy contributions to safety,” said Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of the National Safety Council. “Through their efforts, they are not only helping protect themselves, but also their coworkers. We applaud the dedication of these Rising Stars.”

The honorees for the Class of 2018 are listed below and featured in the September issue of Safety+Health magazine. They will be formally recognized during the 2018 NSC Congress & Expo in Houston, Texas, which will take place from Oct. 20 to 26.
